Kerry, the founder and owner of KR Painting, discoverd her love of painting while living in Washington, DC in the early 1990’s. She honed her exacting painting skills while working for a high-profile faux finishing company on projects ranging from high-end residential, restaurants and even exhibits at the Smithsonian Institution.
She then worked her way through college by starting her first painting company in Richmond, VA, working exclusively for a busy interior designer while studying for a degree in Anthropology with a concentration on historical archaeology. Her degree goes a long way in illustrating her love of old houses, which is no secret to many of her New England clients who are striving to preserve, update and maintain their old houses.
